SUMMARY
The position is responsible for coordinating and administering human resources activities, providing exceptional administrative support, and ensuring a positive Team Member experience.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions, fostering a positive Team Member experience.

Provide efficient and accurate support to the organization, addressing inquiries related to guidelines, policies, legislation, and HR Systems.

Maintain HR information systems, enabling efficient access to HR services.

Conduct research, collect data, analyze information, generate reports, and presentations on a range of human resources topics.

Collaborate with the team in designing, updating, and maintaining HR Programs, guidelines and recommending improvements.

Support the smooth and effective delivery of HR activities across the organization.

Manage administrative functions such as: proofreading, records, guidelines, policies, and privacy procedures.

Produce accurate written materials, including correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Contribute to the development of internal work practices, such as policies, guidelines, procedures, and tools.
-
Provide orientation and training within area of responsibility.
-
Actively participate in and support organizational business transformation initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-
1-2 years of office experience (remote, in-person, or hybrid).

Equivalent combination may be considered: working towards a diploma in Human Resources and exposure to various human resource competencies (e.g., employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, or learning).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong reading comprehension abilities.

Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft365 applications and SharePoint, with a solid technical aptitude.

Strong organizational, data management, and analysis skills.

Attention to detail for accurate data management and report generation.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with modern HR solutions is an asset.

Ability to exercise judgment, initiative, and discretion.

Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy.

EDUCATION

Human Resources Diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of BC labor laws and regulations such as Employment Standards Act, Human Rights, and occupational health and safety
